Inside the Cult of Mordalis' structure, Gravix snoops around the upper inside ledge. He looked to the floor level. It was apparent that the gathering group on the floor was convening for a meeting. He stared over the ledge, and felt a taping at his shoulder.
"Just what do you think you're doing here?" the voice asked.
Gravix turned around, and was greeted by a familiar face.
"Heh, nice to see you old friend. Don't worry, I don't think we have the same bounty this time" Gravix replied.
"So you're not here to capture the ever illusive Vertus?" Artifice replied.
"Nope, I've been sent to bring back proof of the Cult's existence" Gravix replied.
Artifice smirked, "Good luck."
"Same to you my friend" Gravix replied, sensing a bit of sarcasm.
"Hey, you'll never guess who helped me in here" Gravix said.
Artifice just ignored Gravix, not wanting to engage in small talk while on his bounty.
"They were some chaps from that LONAC group you've told me about" Gravix replied to Artifice's silence.
"Are you sure about that?" Artifice replied.
Gravix smiled. "Yeah, one of the two that I met wore that symbol. They were looking for this place but were stopped by the guard apparently."
"Too bad I missed them," Artifice said as he turned to look down at the Cult members.

On board the LSS Freedom
"So, you're saying you just fell through some magical portal after you fought off the magical rock hands with the help of this 'Gravix'?" Waitstate asked.
"Well, actually we jumped through the portal" Drill Master corrected.
Waitstate looked at Drill Master critically. "After you battled this 'Gozer' character you tried to gain entrance to this magical building but once again traveled into a magical portal after Gravix ditched you?"
"As far as I can tell Wait, yes. I monitored the area and couldn't find much scientific data aside from the fact that the building was made out of stone" Stardrive replied. "You've known me for a long time Wait, I wouldn't lie to you. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't experience it myself."
Waitstate muttered "Sounds like a damn video game . . . " then continued. "I'm sorry, I'm usually not this critical. The idea of this sorcerer's cult and all its supposed magic powers was always just a myth. I never really believed that any of this was possible."
"You better believe it, there isn't anything that could have done what we've seen and leave no readings" Drill Master replied.
"I still want to test the area though, this whole idea of 'magic' seems a big suspicious to me" Stardrive replied.
"Don't worry, you'll get your chance again. This time I'll put together a bigger team, now that we know what we're looking for" Waitstate stated.
"Dark Force, Admiral, and Shadowpaw, report to the docking bay" Waitstate ordered via the comm system.

In the docking bay
Diamond Fire, Scamp, Ruse, Admiral Lilwall, and Shadowpaw joined Waitstate, Drill Master, and Stardrive on the docking bay.
"We're going planet side again, only this time we know what we're looking for" Waitstate replied. He looked at the group and noticed Dark Star was not with them. "Where is Dark Star?"
"I'll go get him," Diamond Fire said happily.
"No, I'd rather Shadowpaw go check" Waitstate. Waitstate had always been suspicious of Dark Star. He didn't want any of his possible cohorts helping to hide something of his, and he didn't trust Admiral Lilwall to be gentle enough with him.
"Shadowpaw, tell Dark Star to meet us in the docking bay, we're going to take a shuttle down to Cybertron and find out just what this 'Cult of Mordalis' is all about" Waitstate ordered.
"Will do boss" Shadowpaw replied. She then turned and left the bridge.
Waitstate looked at the members on the docking bay. "Drill Master and Stardrive have found what appears to be the Cult's home base. I'm not sure if we're going to need to engage in battle, but we're definitely going to try and get a few answers."
