"I got the homing beacon," Shadowpaw shouted as she placed it accordingly.

As she activated it, the vortex grew larger and larger.

"This thing is out of control!" Drill Master shouted.

Stardrive tried to reassure the others. "Don't worry, I should be able to stabilize the portal if I adjust-"

Before Stardrive could finish, they were all pulled through the vortex. This time when they made it to the other side their landing was rough. Once again, the odd sites around the strange building could be seen. The group was scattered, but they were all within a short distance from each other.

"This is definitely it!" Drill Master shouted.

Immediately, Stardrive and Drill Master transformed and headed for the apparent temple. Lightning, Shadowpaw, and Admiral Lilwall transformed into their alternate modes and followed.

"Were the heck have you taken us?" Lightning asked Stardrive.

"I'm not quite sure, possibly another dimension" Stardrive replied.

As the group reached the temple, they transformed and walked up to the entrance.

"We had no luck getting in here the first time, how are we going to get in there now?" Drill Master asked.

"Well, this time there is no guard. I suppose we could try to just blast our way in" Stardrive suggested.

"Let me try first" Drill Master asked as he transformed into drill tank mode.

His drill began spinning. Sparks flew in all directions as he tried to pierce the rocky entrance.

Drill Master stopped. "I barely made a scratch."

"Let me try" Lighting said as he pushed the others out of the way. Drill Master transformed and took a step back.

Lightning fired at the door. Nothing seemed to be happening.

"I could use a little help here" Lightning stated.

The other team members pulled out their respective weapons and fired. Suddenly, their guns seemed to lose power.

"What's going on? I know this gun was fully charged when we left the Freedom" Shadowpaw said.

Suddenly, a robed figure appeared before them. This time, instead of being sent back through a portal, everything went black.

When the group came to, they were obviously inside the structure. They were chained to six different poles by their arms on the floor of the temple. Directly behind them sat 60 small robed figures on elevated benches. In front of them was a small sea of robed figures, all seemed to be exactly the same height and build.

A figure that was sitting on the elevated benches stood. "Your group has tried twice to penetrate this fortress." Another figure stood up, and talked in unison with the other figure. "You five shall serve as our sacrifices this night"

"Well now, this sure is a great situation you go into this time Stardrive" Admiral said.

"Hey, it wasn't my idea to go looking for this place" Stardrive argued.

"Will you guys just shut up? This isn't helping any" Lightning shouted angrily.

"You all will be silent," said the two members of the high counsel.

In an instant, a surge of energy ran through the group of five. They all winced in pain.

Drill Master replied "You guys better keep your mouths shut or-"

Another surge of energy ran through them. They all looked at each other, and understood that they could no longer speak.

Up on a ledge, away from the members on the floor, Artifice and Gravix watched.

"I've gotta do something, some of those guys down there are my friends" Artifice whispered to Gravix.

"There is nothing we can do for them now, we'll lose our bounties" Gravix replied.

"The bounty will still be here later, my friends won't be" Artifice said angrily.

Gravix thought for a moment. "So be it, but lets set up the proper diversion shall we?"

"Lets" Artifice agreed.
