The group arrived at the doorway of the temple.

"How are we going to get in?" Diamond Fire asked.

"Simple, you aren't" a voice answered from behind.

A robed figure fired energy bursts at the group. They all dodged the blasts, but out from the walls formed two stony humanoid figures. Dark Star transformed and fired repeated blasts at one of the creatures, causing it to fall apart.

"Aim for the joints, it will save ammo" Dark Star stated.

Taking his advice, Waitstate and Ruse transformed and fired at the second figure and achieved positive results.

"Heh, he's right" Waitstate replied.

"Simple logic is all" Scamp said in a snobbish manor.

Diamond Fire transformed and aimed her gun at the robed figure. She fired, and the blast but the figure dodged it with no effort. Scamp flew circled around the creature and fired a few missiles. They all missed.

"We can't even touch him!" Scamp shouted hopelessly.

Ruse sneaked up behind the figure but it moved out of the way. "Slippery isn't he?"

Diamond Fire fired another blast that the figure and this time the missed blast flew through the air and hit the low flying Scamp. He fell to the ground and transformed into robot mode.

Diamond Fire was horrified. "Scamp!"

Waitstate pulled out his beam saber and slashed at the figure as it moved away from him. Ruse used his arm blades like scissors but missed the figure again.

Dark Star stood still as the others battled.

"Aren't you going to help?" Waitstate shouted as he and Ruse simultaneously tried to take down the robed figure.

As the figure moved out of the way, Dark Star grabbed it by the neck and put it in a headlock. It slipped out of its robe and revealed itself to be a Decepticon. Ruse picked up the robe.

"Maybe this is how they get through the walls" Ruse mused as he put it on. He then ran into the wall, and fell backwards. "I guess not."

Waitstate grew impatient. He deactivated his beam saber and threw the hand at the figure while its back was turned. As the figure turned around, the beam saber activated and sliced right into his chest, terminating him.

Waitstate walked up to the corpse and bulled his beam saber from it. "Now we find a way inside."

Inside of the temple, Artifice and Gravix were ready to put their plan in motion. Gravix had placed a cable around the entire ledge, making a circle. Artifice had cut small notches in each of the decorative gargoyles that overlooked the floor area.

"You ready Gravix?" Artifice asked.

"Yeah, lets do this" Gravix replied.

Gravix and Artifice grabbed on to the opposite ends of the cable. As they pulled on them, the cable slipped up into the notches in the bases of the gargoyles.

"Tally ho!" Gravix shouted as he and Artifice jumped each holding an opposite end of the cable.

The weight of the two bounty hunters on the cable caused the gargoyles to fall off of their bases onto the floor and the Cult members who scattered. Like two valiant heroes, Artifice and Gravix swung down to the floor with gargoyles falling behind them and freed the LONAC members.

"Are you okay?" Artifice asked.

"I'm fine" replied a strained Stardrive. "Artifice, is that you?"

"Yeah, it's me, and I'm-" Artifice was attacked from behind.

The figure that attacked him raised his arm, but Gravix pulled out his whip and used it to pull its arm out of the way.

"I'll have none of that now" Gravix replied in a witty manor as he pulled the figure to him and punched it in the face.

Admiral Lilwall, Drill Master, Lightning, Shadowpaw and Stardrive now joined Gravix and Artifice in battle.

"They outnumber us by a hundred to one" Shadowpaw shouted.
