Dominion was the commander of a Decepticon outpost on Cybertron shortly before the launch of the Ark. Dominion has been trying to kill Diablo ever since he attacked his outpost with the help of Chameleon and Firestorm. Soon after their attack he left the Decepticons. He hasn't yet been sucessful in his attempts to destroy Diablo during the many times they have met.

Since Diablo has joined LONAC, Dominion has been searching for a way to get to him. He then learned about Spectral Death and immediatly joined them.
