Xaraxus is the most treacherous Cybertronian to emerge from the Cult of Mordalis. Tired of being subservient to Galvatron, he gave up the Decepticon faction in order to study sorcery full time at the Cult's Temple. Xaraxus poses great magical powers, but loves traditional long and short range combat so much that he rarely makes use of them.

In robot mode, Xaraxus uses his wide-barreled phaser to knock out enemies from a seemingly immeasurable distance. For close range combat, Xaraxus uses an electrically charged sword. It is capable of firing shield shaped blasts or slicing through average Cybertronian thick metal. In jet mode, Xaraxus' bulky design decreases his potential for speed, but is efficient enough to engage in an aerial or stellar dogfight.

Xaraxus founded Spectral Death under orders from the High Council, a task he gratefully accepted. He secretly plans to overthrow the High Council and lead The Cult of Mordalis once Spectral Death grows in power.
